Defender Matt Doherty has joined League One side Bury on loan until January 3.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international will aim to pick up some more match experience with the Shakers, who currently occupy bottom position in the league.
Kevin Blackwell was recently appointed manager to try and improve the club’s fortunes and Doherty will hope to play a part of that as he moves to Gigg Lane.
Doherty arrived at Molineux from Bohemians in the summer of 2010, and whilst a regular in reserve team football has also made six first team appearances, his Premier League debut last season coming as a half time substitute against Liverpool at Anfield.
He spent the final four months of last season on loan with Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League, making 17 appearances and helping Hibs to the final of the Scottish Cup.
