Wolves can confirm that Dutch keeper Dorus De Vries has joined Nottingham Forest on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old, who joined Wolves on a free transfer two years ago, was given permission to find a new club in the wake of Wayne Hennessey returning to full fitness, joining Carl Ikeme and Aaron McCarey in the group of senior goalkeepers ahead of the League One season.
De Vries, who had also attracted interest from a Dutch club, had 12 months of his Wolves contract remaining.
During his two years at Wolves he found both Hennessey and Ikeme difficult to dislodge from the first team position at different times, making 20 appearances in total, two of which were as a substitute.
Wolves would like to thank Dorus for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future.
