Paul Lakin, previously Wolves’ Head of Commercial Affairs, has been appointed as Stoke City’s new Chief Commercial Officer.

During the last six years at Wolves he has been responsible for securing both the Sportingbet and WhatHouse main shirt sponsorship deals and has overseen significant growth in the Club’s commercial revenues.

Jez Moxey, Chief Executive, Wolves, said: “Over the last six years, Paul has grown our commercial arm and made an important contribution to the Club’s overall development. Paul also leaves a legacy of an excellent commercial team who will ensure it’s business as usual until we appoint his successor. We wish Paul all the best in his new challenge.”

Paul Lakin, added: “I’ve had six great years at Wolves and I’d like to thank all the staff for their hard work and dedication during that time. It’s a team effort off the field, as well as on it, and I wish Wolves all the very best for the future.”
