Former Wolves Striker Kicks-off College's Colourful Charity day

It's not just the team that loves wearing purple of late...

Purple pyjamas and pullovers teamed with teal trousers and t-shirts were the order of the day for a colourful charity fundraiser at City of Wolverhampton College

Former Wolves and England striker Steve Bull, kicked off the fun which saw staff and students at the college's three campuses raid their wardrobes and don weird and wonderful combinations of its corporate colours to raise funds for Wolverhampton based Promise Dreams and Epilepsy Action.

Mark Robertson, Principal of the College - who sported a purple flowery shirt teamed with a purple tie and matching socks said: "Our staff and students work extremely hard every day delivering inspiring lessons and achieving great results, and this was an opportunity for them to have a bit of fun and raise money for two worthwhile causes at the same time".

Steve Bull, a patron of Promise Dreams, said: "I was delighted to join the college's colourful charity day which raised money to help us make more dreams come true for seriously and terminally ill children, and their families, across the UK".

All staff and students taking part were asked to make a £1 donation, with proceeds split between the two charities, there was an iPad mini up for grabs for the person sporting the best costume, along with spot prizes throughout the day.
