Danny Batth is the cover star of the matchday magazine for Saturday’s game with Bradford City.
Batth, who recently signed a new three-and-a-half year contract, looks back on some memories of life in Wolves’ Academy and also of a previous League One promotion he is now looking to replicate at Molineux.
Jack Price is the subject of the 20 questions feature – he quickly throws the spotlight on the dodgy gear of one of his midfield colleagues as well as which soul singer keeps him chilled out ‘on a Sunday morning’.
Kevin Doyle may have departed Wolves on loan for QPR, but not before taking part on the quiz final against Richard Stearman.
There is a special feature on the life of former Wolves fan and ‘Man from the Council’ Steve Evans, who passed away recently after a courageous battle against cancer. Steve’s family are also attending the match as guests of the club and will receive an on-field presentation at half time.
There are all the usual columns from Kenny Jackett, Jez Moxey, Steve Weaver, captain Samuel Ricketts and the Academy, not to mention all the latest from the different departments at Wolves including the Community Trust, Commercial, Ticketing, Young Wolves and the Fanzone section.
The Diamond Geezers section continues to take readers on a match-by-match journey through Wolves’ first title winning season of 1953/54, and there is also a six page lowdown on visitors Bradford.
Retailing at £3, the matchday magazine will be available from in and around Molineux on Saturday.
