Kenny Jackett is delighted to have renewed acquaintances with James Henry after the winger completed a three month loan deal from Millwall.
Henry enjoyed some successful times under Jackett during his spell at The Den, and the Wolves Head Coach believes he has plenty to offer having made the switch to Molineux.
“I’m very pleased to be able to bring James in on loan – he gives us good options, particularly down the right hand side,” said Jackett.
“His delivery and his quality of crosses will be an asset to us and I feel he’s a player who generally features very highly in the assists of goals.
“He has the ability to come inside and pass it and his ball retention is good, but his predominant strength is as a winger, going past players and getting crosses in.
“We have been short in the wide areas and James coming in on loan gives us good competition in the wide areas as well.
“He has a lot of quality to help us over the next few months.
“He’s done well over the last few seasons at Championship level – he’s had good years for Millwall in the Championship.
“His games record is good and his experience level is good and it’s a great opportunity for him coming to a club of this size and I do feel his best years are ahead of him.
“All the experience he has he can put to good use and over this short period of time for Wolves.
“I hope he does bring a lot to us and both create and score goals because it’s a vital ingredient towards winning games.”
Henry will take squad number 7 after arriving at Molineux.
