Christian Herc scored the only goal of the game just after half time as Wolves ran out 1-0 winners in their Premier League 2 fixture at Carrow
And Sellars spoke highly of his players' performance after a long away trip.
He said: “It’s always a challenge for the lads in terms of how they deal with the time.
“I think we do it as professionally as we possibly can. We go down in the morning, go to a hotel and have a rest in the afternoon so there are no excuses.
“Again, it seemed to take a while for the lads to get going, as it always does on the long trips.
“I thought it was a really good performance. We won 1-0 but, over the 90 minutes, I felt like we could have won by a lot more.
“In the end, probably the hardest chance we had on the night wins us the game.
“We had a lot of comfortable chances where I felt we should have converted but the game is always tense at 1-0.
“It was fantastic technique from Christian. He did it at Chesterfield, he did it at West Ham, he’s got a fantastic shooting technique.
“Although he’s only 17, he’s proving that he’s a really talented boy and we’re really pleased with how he’s developing."
Herc and Niall Ennis were back in the squad after some time away through international duty and injury respectively.
“Christian’s been away on international duty, he’s away a lot with Slovakia because he seems to mix amongst the age groups," explained Sellars.
“Niall’s had a bit of an injury. I was going to rest him this week and not start him but he’s been excellent in training and full of energy.
“We’ve done a little bit of work on his fitness and, again, he proved last night that he’s going to be a real handful."
Monday's result moves Wolves up to second in the PL2 table and the Under 23 Coach believes their league position is fully deserved.
He said: “Everything that comes their way at the moment, they deal with brilliantly.
“They’re talented players who work really hard and if you’ve got that combination then you’ve always got a chance of winning games.
“With that talent and with that hard work, you also get some spirit, togetherness and a real desire to win.
“It was great at half time, I didn’t really have a lot to say because they were sorting it out.
“They weren’t happy with how they played, they could see one or two problems and things they wanted to do better and they really nailed it.
“It was just me backing up their view to say yeah, we’re seeing the same from the sides.
“Stop dribbling so much, move the ball quicker and we think we can create these problems.
“Then we were far better in the second half. We had chances in the first half but I didn’t think we moved the ball quickly enough, we were too slow.
“In the second half we were a lot quicker, countered very well and created a lot of chances through the quality of how they can attack."
