ACADEMY | Wolves Travel to Swansea

11:08 10th January 2017

Wolves Under 21s travel to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night to take on Swansea City in Round Three of the Checkatrade Trophy.

Wolves reached this stage of the competition after finishing top of their group in the opening stages and then going on to defeat Sunderland's Under 21s on penalties in Round Two.

This will be the first fixture for the Wolves Under 21 group since Christmas as their Premier League 2 clash with Middlesbrough, scheduled for January 5th, was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Swansea finished second in their Checkatrade Trophy group after winning two and losing one of their opening round games. They then defeated Norwich City Under 21s in Round Two of the competition.

The two sides have faced each other earlier in the season, in a thrilling Premier League 2 clash at New Bucks Head that finished 4-3 to the Swans.

Tickets for the game are still available. Supporters can purchase their tickets in-person on the night or by contacting 0844 815 6665.
