Wolves Board Take the Ice Bucket Challenge

PUBLISHED

15:35 28th August 2014

The Wolves Board will be receiving the full ice bucket treatment at the side of Molineux’s pitch on Saturday, 2:30pm ahead of the home game versus Blackburn Rovers.

Following a number of nominations from family, friends, fans (and even a nomination from WBA’s Chairman, Jeremy Peace for Jez Moxey), the Board have collectively taken-up the challenge and are raising money for the Wolverhampton Youth Zone, which is due to open next year.

Based in the heart of the City, the Youth Zone will help Wolverhampton’s young people, giving them a safe place to go and access to sport & leisure and education facilities, which otherwise might not be available to them.

Chairman, Steve Morgan and Directors’, Jez Moxey, John Gough and John Bowater have each pledged £100 to the Youth Zone as part of their ice bucket challenge and Wolves Aid will also match the £400 for the MNDA charity.

Also donations can be made by clicking here. Take a screen shot of your confirmation email and tweet it to Wolves and you will be included in the draw if you are already attending Saturday’s game.

Molineux’s staff have reassured supporters they have set the ice machine working around the clock to make things as cold as possible!
