Wolves Triumph in Friendly

A Wolves XI defeated a Burnley XI 4-3 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Compton on Friday afternoon.

Kevin Doyle was the star for the hosts, netting all four of Wolves' goals to seal victory against Premier League opposition.

Tommy Rowe was also in action against the Clarets, the midfielder completed 70 minutes as he continued his rehabilitation from injury and closes in on a return to first team action.

Friday's friendly was the second game in a week for Rowe who saw 45 minutes of action against West Bromwich Albion in the Wolves U21s' opening fixture of the season on Monday evening.
