George Elokobi (ankle) is in line for a potential return to availability for the game with Burnley in nine days' time, joining Bakary Sako (hamstring) in that respect. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake (broken leg) is sidelined for up to six months following surgery while Razak Boukari (calf) has also undergone an operation. Wayne Hennessey (cruciate knee) remains on course for a pre-season return with David Davis (ankle) and Dave Edwards (foot) also still undergoing rehabilitation.
